Domestic violence injuries can leave long-lasting physical and emotional damage and can even lead to death.  Injuries of any kind should be treated seriously and medical attention is strongly encouraged. Through partnership with St. Mary's Hospital and Cambridge Memorial Hospital, immediate medical attention is available at the Emergency Departments for victims of sexual assault and domestic violence.   

Crisis telephone counselling and face-to-face counselling services are available through a number of the Partners at the Family Violence Project.  Support during a time of crisis can help victims and their families find solutions.
