When the court and legal system is involved, victims of family violence may feel lost in a maze of strange terminology, be uncertain and fearful about the next steps that will happen in their life, and be confused about their rights and responsibilities. Partners at the Family Violence Project are there to help victims and their families understand the court process and legal system and what to expect next.  They work together with victims to ensure that they have the information and support needed during this critical time.
