The KW Multicultural Centre has been serving the community for 35 years. They offer many services, programs and support to new Canadians including assistance with job search, interpretation and translation services, assistance with settlement needs, counselling and with filling out government forms, Permanent Residence cards and meeting other documentation needs.

The Immigrant Settlement Adaptation Programme (ISAP) connected with the YMCA is a program designed to help immigrants settle and integrate into Canadian society. ISAP offers information/orientation, referral, interpretation and translation, advocacy, settlement counselling and crisis intervention, employment services, and community orientation. Information regarding services available at the local office in Kitchener can be found here.

Scarborough Hospital Sexual Assault Care Centre containing valuable information regarding sexual assault in 30 different languages.

Information linking women to shelters in 10 different languages. Also contains information regarding healthy and abusive relationships and information for teens and children.

The Family Law Education for Women website contains plain language legal information on women's rights under Ontario family law is available in 11 languages and in multiple formats.

The site Office for the Prevention of Domestic Violence is from New York State and contains information specific to USA law. However, it also contains a document entitled "Domestic Violence Finding Safety and Support" which is available in English and Spanish. This document cites general information about domestic violence that is worthwhile for victims and their families living in Canada.

The Muslim Family Safety Project website contains information on violence against women and the law in Ontario.  The site also has faith specific information/pamphlets that are available in 7 languages.
