The Assaulted Women's Help Line is a 24-hour telephone and TTY crisis line for women in the province of Ontario. They are also open to speaking to friends and family members of abused women, service providers and other professionals in contact with abused women. Their service is anonymous and confidential. Their toll-free number won't show up on your phone bill. They do not have call display. Of particular interest on this site is a security link that gives women information on how to erase their computer "tracks" so that their partner doesn't know that they have been seeking help/information on the computer.

The Victim's Witness Assistance Program (VWAP) is a service funded by the Ontario Ministry of the Attorney General. This service provides valuable information through personal contact with victims of Domestic Violence to assist them in navigating through the court system(s). This site lists the services offered at the Kitchener office as well as contact numbers and hours of operation.
Victims Services of Waterloo Region offers a variety of direct services to victims including a 24 hour crisis line as well as education and community outreach.
The Sexual Assault Support Centre of Waterloo Region is a feminist organization that offers a 24 hour crisis line for victims of sexual assault. They also provide one-to-one counselling as well as group counselling. They offer court advocacy, support and accompaniment and are actively involved in community education.

Many women who, while dating or in relationships, are forced into choices not their own through rape, sexual coercion or because partners prevent them from using protection. The reproductive health consequences of sexual coercion and violence are the focus of an initiative launched by the Family Violence Prevention Fund (FVPF). It is designed to create a dialogue about the birth control sabotage and reproductive coercion that many teens and young women face, which can result in unintended pregnancy, HIV/AIDS and other sexually transmitted infections, miscarriage, infertility, coerced abortion, and a range of other serious health issues. The Farm Line Support Service is a telephone support help line for farmers and rural families in Ontario. The goal of The Farm Line is to provide a toll free, confidential, anonymous, bilingual helpline that offers emotional support and referral service to farmers and rural families in Ontario.
